No App Policy Found

Have assigned App Policy to Galaxy tablet, but under Configurations it says "No App Policy Found."

The device has been re-enrolled and moved to another group after activation.  When moving the tablet to the other group, I have tried with and without "Maintain "Overridden" Advanced Configurations specified to selected device(s)."  Apps are being pulled from Google Play.

Check if a filter is set to this app policy, so it will be excluded from assignement because of the filter.

Do you have different devices in the same folder which get this app policy?

Assuming your check on deployment filter and device-group hierarchy inheritance is thorough,  maybe there is some bug or related fix(es already released.   Please check the releases notes for any related issues fixed/reported after your current MobiControl server  your version

.

If the problem is localized to specific device(s), device model(s), enrollment mode or device group(s), it is also possible that your database has some corrupted table entries or some bugs in the device firmware.

Thank you for your post Mel,

May I ask if the issue is happening with only one Galaxy tablet?

As mentioned n this post, that could be a bug or other software issue.

I did some testing with different devices, with and without "Maitain "Overriden" Advanced Configurations", but in my case, my app policy applied to my devices.

You could also raise a case with us. Maybe a resolution has already been provided, and we could discuss further your situation.

Thank you.

Hello Mel,

Thanks again for your post.

Could you confirm for us, as your case is resolved, which option did you choose, before wiping and re-enrolling your device => with or without "Maintain "Overriden" Advanced Configurations"?

Thank you
