AEDO with lockdown -> device informantion not present ?

Hello all,

first i wish to all people a happy new year ,,A year without no problem with device :)

well, we work with mobicontrol server on version 15.5.1.1010.

Device is zebra TC75X under android 8 -> enroll entreprise (first device , we discover entreprise just now).

Agent is on version 15.3.0.1006

I have a profile with a lockdown and when a apply to the zebra, device information is empty -> no sign of battery / date / network and so on ..

If i do the same on my Zebra Android 7 with android + more or less same profile , device information is well present ...

Any idea would be appreciate ?

How to resolve this ?

What are the active MDM API's reported on the configuration tab of your device agent?

Have you deployed any Zebra AE plug-in to your devices?

Have you granted all prompted apps permissions to the device agent during device enrollment?

Hello,

Here is it the MDM api on this device:

RC Virtual Display, Work Managed Device, Android Zebra EMDK, Android Plus 1.6

No we don't deploy anz plug in on device ,,

Just enroll with device afw#mobicontrol and that's it ,,

Yes all permissions has been accepted,

We work now with mobicontrol on version v15, many things change on profile lockdown,,

I need to lock exctaly what is these new options

When you said " device information is empty -> no sign of battery / date / network and so on", did you actually mean that the whole status bar was hidden on the device screen? Or did you mean the status bar was there but there are no icons or alphanumeric data shown? Or did you mean you had macros to show battery or other information in the lockdown menu but they seemed to be empty (undefined) with nothing shown?

Did you choose exactly the same advanced options in the kiosk/lockdown-menu profile payload for your previous Android-7 devices and your current problematic Android-8 devices?

In any case,  it is recommended to install the appropriate OEM specific AE plug-in ( "Zebra TC2x & Oreo and above Devices", which should be  Zebra_Hawkeye_RC_AE_1.6.0.102 in your case) on an AE device to allow enhanced features to be supported.   Please see if there is any difference after the plug-in has been installed.

Hello,

Yes the status bar was not there ..

The profile was not make correctly.

For to display status bar we change in profile lockdown type in activity suppresion
