App crashing in single app mode lockdown

Solved

We use a single app lockdown profile and a feature control profile on Galaxy active tab3 devices. At times on first start up the single app crashes (app flickers constantly). Upon testing a tablet a prompt to clear cache for Mobicontrol came up and was wondering if this could possibly be the cause.

Is there a script to clear the app cache remotely and also is this something that I should schedule reguraly? If so how would I go about scheduling a script reguraly fleet wide say daily or something similar?Clear Mobicontrol Cache

We never had something like that in the past, only if the app which has to be shown in single app mode, is doing an update while displayed but afterword it was everytime fine (so update should never done during use time). Could be worth for you to investigate with Soti to solve this, all other ways would be only workarounds but not a real solution.

You can (as far as i know) only clear entire app data with

Wipeapplication packagename

but i'm not sure if this is possible to Mobicontrol itself.

You can then (i think since Mobicontrol 15.5) create a "Task Scheduler" profile where you can execute scripts on a regular base but it uses saved scripts, so first you have to save the script to be used here in the console.

What are the version and build numbers of your MobiControl device agent?

What about the active MDM API's reported on either the device agent configuration tab or device information tab in the web console?
