Getting pushed back the lockdown screen 3-4 times upon loading Mobi on devices.

Hi all.

Having an issue when Mobicontrol first loads the lockdown screen on our devices (TC70 and MC9290).  The screen flashes 3-4 times, kind of seems like its pushing down something in the background.  Even if a user opens up an app as soon as Mobi loads up, while they are in the app, it pushes the users back to the lockdown screen.  This causes a major issue when users are signing into web based apps as it makes them re-sign into whatever they were using everytime.

Any thoughts?

Is your web-based app launching other apps on the device?

Is you web-based app actually a web-app running in a web-browser or a native app?

Have you selected 'Mobicontrol" and always" when there is any prompt in launcher choice pop up?

The web apps are just URL's that we added to the lockdown screen.  This issue started to happen even before we added the URLs to the lockdown screen.

Hi Rob,

Can you provide the MobiControl version, device OS, and device agent version?
It is a possibility that lockdown is blocking a process that is used by one of the applications you have added and is causing the applications to terminate unexpectedly.

If you are on MobiControl 13.3+ or later, and these are Android devices, you may also want to try checking and unchecking "Package Blocking (Legacy)" from the Lockdown profile:

Go to Edit the Profile > Configurations tab > Lockdown > Advanced > check/uncheck "Package Blocking (Legacy)"

You may also want to try using the latest agent from http://www.soti.net/oem (again if these are Android devices)

I would advise that you open a support case for this issue so that we may investigate the device logs.
If these are Android devices, a support agent may be able to help you collect ADB logs which may provide a clue on what the cause is.
