Remote Desktop and Datawedge config.

We are experiencing a but of a challenge.

Basically it's a deployment with mc3300r. They are using remote desktop access via the Android App. However the soft-keyboard is removed by stagenow, because this will fill out the majority of their screen whenever the click a cell.

Problem: They can't scan on the device because when we remove the keyboard, then Keystroke output from Datawedge wont work.

Can we:

1) Configure Datawedge to send data via intents to the remote desktop application.

2) Can we maybe remote the google virtual keyboard and install Enterprise Keyboard instead and continue using keystroke output for scanning?

 - It is important that Enterprise Keyboard will remain suppressed also when hitting cells in the remote desktop app, until activated by a hw-button etc.

Any suggestions are much appreciated:-)

The MC3300 has a physical keypad and therefore you shouldnt have to remove the virtual keypad but rather just set it to a hidden state. There is a toggle for setting the virtual keypad to hidden while the physical keypad is active. Once you set that the virtual keypad should be hidden while still allowing for keystroke output from DataWedge. I am otherwise not aware of any RDP clients that can accept Intent based scan output from DataWedge.
