I don't believe it is possible to connect SOTI hub with sharepoint online without authenticating the user with office 365 but just to confirm I have reached out to the team that works on SOTI Hub to see if there is something I am unaware of.

SharePoint Online is a cloud content repository which is part of the Office 365 Suit and as such mandates users to authenticate through their own login page that requires Office 365 credentials. 

So unfortunately it isn't possible to authenticate users without their Office 365 credentials.

I confirm that you perform some tests with Soti Surf placing the link of Sahred point online and it works correctly, I try to do the same with Soti hub and it is impossible.

Can you please validate it? Thank you
