This provides a clearer picture.  In the new version of the MobiControl Console the "Ad Hoc" method of adding additional columns provides you with a view of the additional available data that you can display from your devices.  This new feature also allows you to download the data but only as a csv file. 

With regards to "creating a custom report" this still remains consistent in all later MobiControl versions as something we recommend engaging our Professional Services Department to have them create the customization you are interested in, with the required data.  Please note this is a pay per use service.

If possible and you choose to do this on your own, the reports section has an Import button in the bottom left hand corner from which you can select and navigate to i-net Clear Reports VIA the Download here link.  Once the report is created it can be imported back into the MobiControl console and should be available as a custom report from which you can then schedule the report.

I have attached a screenshot of where this occurs, for you to easily identify.  I have provided instruction for the SQL database diagram to assist your developer in mapping the custom report if necessary.

To get a database diagram
Open SQL management  Studio

Open Database folder
Open MobiControlDB
Right click on Database Diagrams
Create new diagram
Select all existing tables and click add

You will then see a complete diagram of the selected tables which you can copy and use in creating the report.

You will need this in mapping the required fields for the report you are trying to create.

*Please note however that any changes that are made to the database can have adverse effects. You will need to take full responsibly of any changes made to the database.

A backup should always be done before any changes made.

What version of MobiControl are you using?  There are 2 different reporting engines used with the last 2 versions of the console.

Also the latest version has an ad hoc method of being able to pull information and export as a csv.   What report information are you looking to have created?

I am using latest version (14.1.8). I already installed iNET Clear Report Designer. I can establish a connection to MobiControl- database.

I already made a "new Column Set" in View Devices". I want to schedule this report. And I want to give my personal touch to this report.
