Hi all,
Is there any feature on Windows & MacOS to alert user once there is hardware dismantle?
Tried to explore it on Rule, unfortunately didn't find any alert that meet that requirement.
Thanks,
Randy

Not sure about MAC but in regards of Windows, try to get this done via Powershell script.

Hi Randy,
I really don't know what exactly did you mean when you refer to "hardware dismantle"? Could you please elaborate the scope/degree of dismantling or type of hardware module(s) you are referring to?
I am so very surprised that Rafael can dare to tell you to use Powershell to do something. Maybe he is so smart to know what you mean by hardware dismantle. But I just can't see what his referenced article has any relevant material related to hardware dismantle.
The refered article is regarding powershell scripting which should work for Windows devices (we don't manage them via Soti, so can't check). I completely ignored the dismantle thing because this doesn't make any sense to me and is not interesting regarding the issue he has.
He just wants to send/display a message on a MAC and on a Windows machine.
Maybe he means not dismantle but more likely "removal" like an usb-stick getting plugged out or so. But that's really hard to compare.
