Hi Evan,
Thanks for the post!
Can you please share what kind of applications are you looking to push to the devices or your expectations from the custom app?
Have you enrolled the device as Windows Modern or Windows Classic?
Regards,
I'm simply looking to limit a user account on the machine to use one .exe file (which already exists on the machine). I have enrolled the device as Windows Modern.
On enrolled laptop running Windows 10, you should be able to use either
1. Select "Classic " and " custom" options in "Allowed Applications" tab of "Assigned Access" Windows-Modern profile payload
or
2. Select "EXE" option in "Application Run Control" tab of "Application Run Control" Windows Modern profile payload
to allow/add restriction on specific legacy .exe file.
When I specify my application in the profile under the assigned configurations "Allowed Applications" I only see a blank tile that doesn't respond when I click on it on the target computer.
I have specified the path for the application but it is not working.
What are the version and build numbers of your MobiControl server? And those of your your MS-Windows running on your laptop?
Could you please show screenshots of what you specify for the application in your profile and what you see on the device screen?
