You could try to change the device ID by using a script command:

writeprivateprofstring _private DeviceID “new unique device ID”

The device will unenroll after that script command. When you re-enroll it again then it will be enrolled
with your given device ID.

SOTI doesn't enroll the device, but SOTI Mobicontrol is installed. The only option I have is to factory reset, but trying to enroll the device creates the same issue. Doesn't matter what policy I use. Cant use the script since i cannot enroll.

We currently have the same problem. After an Installation another device will be kicked out. Some devices will share the same device ID and will kick each other out of the groups into "new devices".

Has there been a solution for that problem?

Disable "strict enrollment" in the enrollment settings and check again if after reenrollment you see the same issue.

And you should only see this on devices without SIM, correct?

We have the same thing here and Soti still has an case regarding this.

We do disable the strict enrollment and try enrolling the device again but still not works. Yes it happens only device without sim. Till now soti support is trying to resolve my case

@Premnath,

One of my customers was facing an issue after sending the above script and re-enrolled after the factory reset resolved the issue.

Can you try a factory reset if you not?
