Hi

I have some Application Catalog rules for our devices.

But I'm having this strange error.

Our Samsung tablets can see other devices application catalogs, but not its own.

The Mobicontrol app catalog works fine and all the apps are installed due to mandatory installation.

Its the "M3M4 Tek Tablets Alle" that should be showing up

Are your devices of different brands/models all enrolled with the same Managed-Google-Play account?  If so, they can see all the App Catalog rules associated with this same MGP account.

Yes, we use the same MGP account for all devices. My problem is, that even if I set the setting that user is not allowed to uninstall apps, they are able to do it by selecting the same app from one of the other App Catalogs in Google Play containing the same app.

What you said in your last post is a totally different problem.

It seems that "managed" apps from managed Google Play store can be uninstalled by end-user even if the corresponding AE feature-control option to disallow uninstallation has been checked.  I don't know if this is a bug or the expected behaviour.  I'll leave that to Soti support to find out and tell us.  However, my temporary solution for disallowing uninstallation of any mandatory managed app is to use  the following script command

    afw_prevent_uninstall  bundleID   enable | disable

Hello.

We encounter the same problem related to application catalogs.
We use several catalogs of applications applied to different groups.
We have observed from the moment that one or more applications are common to other catalog rules, then the catalog is made available in the playstore of the device even if it has not been added to the group.

SOTI has confirmed to us that this is a known issue. The developers offer as a workaround to create two AE bindings, but I agree that this is not a suitable solution.
We hope to have a fix, especially as more and more devices are required to be in Android Enterprise mode and use application catalog rules.

Regards.

Okay. Yes that is exactly the issue I see to
