datawedge on android kitkat

I need to reset datawedge version 6.4.18 on android kitkat to factory default but it doesn't have that option

maybe a better question is I have a web page that we need to scan in username and password to access.

on my zebra 9300 with android 10 and datawedge only thing I needed to add was profile0\basic data formatting, check send enter key so that it would scan our barcode and then sign in

however on my mc9200 with kitkat and datawedge i've tried everything and can't get it to scan in username, tab down and scan in password, should be very simple but now that I've changed a lot of settings probably best to get back to default and relook at everything

I typically do not recommend modification or usage of the Profile0 default profile for production use. You should be creating new Profiles in DataWedge and associating them with the activities of the application that you are running so that the particular Profile can be activated when your app is in the foreground. Try creating a new Profile on the MC92N0, associate it with your app's activities, and then set the configurations that you need.

Note also that the MC92N0 running Android is somewhat of a frankenstein device (was originally built for Windows CE) and therefore it has had its fair share of challenges. I typically try to ignore that it ever existed to be honest as it was better off running Windows CE7. I recommend phasing those A4 MC92s out for A10 based MC93s as soon as possible as you will find support for the MC92 to be very limited.

thanks, I agree about not messing with the default profile but i did so that's my bad.

don't know how to get back to default settings now cause I don't have a spare scanner at the moment to compare
