Will the WinMCKiosk.exe application be updated to support modern browsers like Chrome/Edge? We have a set of about 400 kiosk systems using the lockdown feature to open certain websites, but IE is no longer supported and these sites require a modern browser.

Hi Mike,

If you wish to utilize a specific program, you can edit the lockdown template itself and then adjust the following accordingly:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application\msedge.exe -k www.hotmail.com"

The -k part is the command line arguments, therefore if applications support it. Then you can utilize any CLI arguments you need. For example:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application\example.exe -URL https://example.com/

If this resolves your query, please mark this post as the solution. Also, feel free to reach out if you need any clarification or have any questions.

Regards,
