Why are their more Device Property based Filter Criteria options for Virtual Groups than in Profile Assignments?

There are seemingly twice as many Device Properties under the Filter Criteria options for Virtual Groups as there are under Profile Assignments. Why is there a disparity between the two? If there was a use case to build out support for a property value in one, then wouldn't the same use case inherently exist in the other? OEMVersion was only just added to the Profile Assignment options in a recent maintenance build for 13.3 despite it being an option for Virtual Groups for quite some time.

While Virtual Groups (specifically Filter Groups) and Profiles do share the "filter criteria" concept, the use of a Profile vs a Virtual Group is of course different and therefore slight differences between the two do exist.

Notably, Profile filter criteria will leverage a subset of device properties. Specifically, properties that change frequently such as "battery status" will not appear in Profile filter criteria as that would result in the constant installation and uninstallation of device configurations on the device.

In the case of OEM version, it is likely that we at SOTI implemented this property quickly in response to a specific customer request and their particular use case and then later extended it to other use cases such as Profiles as it make sense in both contexts.
