As I said, it is possible to re-enable Generic Android platform by making modification in the database.  I did so many times in the past.

However, be warned that I am not from Soti, and what worked for me doesn't neccessary works for your case.  So, if you follow what I said and crash something for whatever reason,  don't blame me and I have no obligation to provide further support to you.

Shut down all your MobiControl server modules.  Then use MS Management Studio or whatever tool you are familar with to open the MobiControl SQL database,  find the table  dbo.settings and remove the number ",4"  from the list in the item "NonLicensePlatforms".   Restart your servers

Make sure you back up everything for possible fallback before you try the above. Good luck.

I couldn't remember exactly from which version onwards Generiic Android platform is disabled by default for new MobiControl installation,  but I think v13.2  still enable generic Android platform by default.  Your problem may also  be related to the license file you got.

Anyway, open a support ticket with Soti.  If your server version and all other things are OK to work with generic Android agent,  they will likely instruct you how to configure some parameter (add a number in a list for a particular table)  in the SQL database to support generic Android platform.

In production we have version 13.2, the same package i am trying to install for tests, with an evaluation key.

I thought that there could be some changes that be applied to configuration or database, that i may find here.
