Hell all,

we work with soti mobi control in version => 13.3.0.3454

on our device under android we have the soti agent in version =>13.3.2 build 1034

In one of my profile, under configuration tab / restriction / phone call i have two number that we authorize.

Now, i'd like to disable some special number as this  :

- *#06# => give the emie of the device

- *#*#4636#*#* => retrieve information about phone and wifi :)

for to do that, i edit the profile go to configuration tab / restriction / phone call

Click new => add a name => INVALID COMMAND NUMBER as sample

Click button add =>  *#06# But the character # is never save ...

Have you an idea about how i can block these special command ?

Thanks for all suggestion and your time

I looked for something similar on MobiControl  a few years ago, but could not find a solution so far.

Phone Blacklist/Whitelist in MobiControl  are for filtering phone numbers, and not for special codes (that start with * or # keys), which can differ for different phone models except for a few standard ones such as those you mentioned.

Let's see if Soti support team can recommend anything to do that.

Good morning raymond,

thanks for share your experience that's great ...

i think the best solution is to delete the contact app and integrate in our app a list of contact with two buttons for example (call, respond) something like that ...

Thanks but just one word i've look about soti surf i've read the doc about the white list and black list about web site but nothing found about how to hide address bar ????? have you got any idea if it's possible to hide the address bar with soti surf on website ?

I've find a video about soti surf but ...looks the video i think it's not a good adversating for soti surf ... :)

Using kiosk mode in Soti Surf is the same as hiding address bar.   All the directly user-selected URL's are hardcoded as items in the kiosk as defined in the Soti Surf payload of a profile.
