deployment server priority - override issue

Issue:

currently most devices connected to server 1.  5000+

only about 400 devices connect to server 2.

I try to configure deployment server pirority for a child folder which has about 200 devices. try to force them connect to server 2 only

- override settings Inherited from parent group "xxxx"

I  have set the child folder override setting from parents,

and set server 1 priority = 2

and server 2 priority =  1.

But after apply the settings, still no luck, devices rebooted but still connect to server 1.

Are you using FQDN or IP address for your device management address?

Does your HA system have access to the Internet?  Do you have any hardware load-balancer installed?

What platform(s) [e.g Android, iOS, Windows Unified, Windows CE/Mobile, Linux, etc.]  of devices are enrolled onto your HA system?

MB

Did you have choosen the Right "Type "?

Andriod Plus, Windows Ce/WM, ....

When you have set the "Deployment Server Priority" ?

FQDN use IP address,   we do have load-balancer in place.   platform most of them are android.

our HA system do have access to internet.

thank you  Raymond

What you said "FQDN use IP address", did you actually mean your "device-management address" is using a public IP address?

Apart from Android devices, what are the device platform(s) and mode(s) of the remaining devices?

What brand or model of hardware load-balancer are you using?  Do you know what kind of scheduling policies have been configured in the hardware load-balancer?
