Can´t Upload a picture on Android [Android 11]

Solved

Hello,

we have a problem with SOTI Surf on Android 11

When we make a Screenshot, it will show in file system, see /storage/emulated/0/Download/SOTIsurf/0/.temp/IMG_1658912629480.jpg.

In a upload forms to send the screen the websites says successfully uploaded, but no picture was upload.

The adb log says the error
MediaProvider: Couldn't find file: /storage/emulated/0/Download/SOTIsurf/0/.temp/IMG_1658912629480.jpg

Under Android 10 the upload is functional.
Under Android 11 the upload is functional with chrome browser.

Where is the problem located and how we can fix this error?

Very sounds like a permission issue.

Please check the app permissions if Soti Surf has the permission to all (minimum media) files.

Probably. How can I solve the problem, how and which permissions must be set to resove this error?
SOTI Surf can save pictures in
storage/emulated/0/Download/SOTIsurf/0/.temp/
Then why can't SOTi Surf find the file and upload it?

Thanks

I think the difference is the "file owner".

Please check the app permission in the android settings for files if it's "all" or minimum "media".

If you can't manually, you have to ask Soti if/how this is possible. Thats nothing i can help with, sorry.

Hello,

i have installed an older Version of SOTi Surf, V15.4.0 Build 5.
It works with 15.40 Build 5.

The SOTI Enterprise Support has confirmed the bug in the current version.

The error is fixed with the new version of SOTi Surf.
As per the internal tickets from SOTI, this is a known issue on OS 11 running on the latest soti surf.

Thanks for the support.
