Is there a way to stop a user using the recent button so they cannot get out of the application and the same for when the user tries to split the screen?
You can remap the Recent button to another key using the KeyMappingMgr of MX. If you build a working StageNow MX configuration that you like you can then distribute that config to the devices through SOTI.
Alternatively, if these are Managed Devices (DO) under Android Enterprise, you can deploy the lockdown in Kiosk mode (not Activity Suppression) and that will hide the Recent button by default.
