Shared Device - Clear managed application data when user logs out doesn't work

Hi,

I need to configure Shared Device where is Microsoft Teams (and other Microsoft apps) installed in both groups.

User1 will sign via AD to Group1 and sign to Microsoft Teams. Now I need wipe cache for Teams if  the user is logged out from shared device because user2 will sign via AD to Group2 and he needs to sign to MS Teams with his account.

When Users wants to sign in or sign out from agent we got an error message:

Failed to remove personal information from device. Please contact your MobiControl administrator.

So I need to send "Troubleshoot Shared Device" If this command is sent to the device user is logged in/logged out successfully.

MC version: 15.1

Android 8.1 and 9

Model: Zebra TC52 (but I tested with Samsung too)

Agent: 14.2.1.1083

Plugin: 1.6.0.102

Android Enterprise - Work Managed

Do you have the same problem or how can we solve it? Command: wipe application "package name" doesn't work. I've tested with many applications with the same result. Do you know if it's supported in latest version of agent? thanks

Support ticket I have for this:  C00446305

Support says:
This is regarding the case about the apps not getting cleared when you log out from MobiControl agent in a shared device.

I was told that the fix to this issue was released in MobiControl version 15.3.1. This version was released this week. The Android Agent should be at least 14.4.4

The installer for this version could be found in the following link:
https://downloads.soti.net/MobiControl/mobicontrol1531setup_1151_release.exe
Let me know if you have any questions about this information.

I have not tested this yet. Working on getting all units up to date.

I don't believe the wipeapplication script is properly supported by Android Enterprise devices in SOTI so you may need to take a different approach. Completely uninstalling an app and then reinstalling it has the effect of the clearing the app cache so perhaps you could have Teams completely uninstalled and then reinstalled after log in. To accomplish this I think you'd need to be installing Teams via APK based Package rather than Managed Play however.
