Soti Mobicontrol 15.6 --> Exit kiosk mode

Hello together, 

could pelase some one can support me regarding exit the kiosk mode for scanners which are notz connected with the WLAN?

I tried the below drawing, but this does not work currently.

The scanner has the agent version: 15.3.2.1042
Hold back or backspace does also not work.

Do you have any idea?

I assume you use an actual version, where long press on the back button doesn't bring up the password field.

Your drawing is wrong.
You should start at "~30% from down right" to "top middle" and end up at "~30% from down left" (like an ^). Do not draw a triangle.

I tried it, but it did not work. And i tried it a few times.

Do you have any other ideas?
If not i will also open a ticket and post here a solution fromt he support team.

I don't know any other possibility and i'm pretty sure it's much harder on those devices as on tablets where we have to do it that way (and an unexperienced person may need very many tries).

It would be so good to have another/better solution for that even there's nothing coming into my mind to ask them for.

Hi Manuel,

did you get on the Kiosk Screen any "stange Messages" when you press as Rafael mentiond "long press on Back button" ?

ON a Zebra Device i had the Problem there was that Firmware installed, that i was not able to get out of the Kisok Mode.

10-16-10.00-QG-U138-STD-HEL-04

It was only possible to enter when i get in the "Save Mode" reset the Device and change the installed Firmware on the Device.

Or Flash it via ADB with the right Firmware :(

You have no idea how much this helped me; I had been locked in kiosk mode in single app mode for the whole day.
I tried many gestures with no success. I'm not sure how I came on your post, but the triangular form that you mentioned in the original post worked for me. I don't why this is not documented in SOTI manual.

My agent version is: 15.3.4.1113
