Hello

Is there a way that I can force all my devices ( all zebra et45 with SIM card in them) to send a SMS to a specific phone number? I assume that if it is possib

I need to do this in order to organize what phone number I have on each device. So is there a way to write in the content of the SMS the imei of each device like %IMEI% or something like this

Otherwise is there a way to automatically associate each device with their phone number?

Each device that has a SIM card reports the phone number, IMEI and other details on the Device Details page.

Just to add and maybe a bit confusing but the phone number is shown in the device details, not in the cellular details!

Well for me all the devices except one have Unknown instead of phone number

How does Soti check for phone number information, all my devices have data exclusive subscription with the carrier , so noe phonecalls can be made

Is there a way to send a command to soti to recheck the phone number?

Soti grabs the information from the phone itself.

So, if the SIM is not providing a SIM number (which is most likely the case for data only cards) to the device (check it via remote control on the device if the number is shown for the relevant SIM), then Soti also can't provide it.

And as far as i know with data only cards you even can't send texts (as far as i know from my experiences as those services are turned off but can be different for your contract).

Maybe you can request a list from your provider with ICCID (should also been shown for data only cards in Soti) and phone numbers which you can then compare to your phones.

So the number is not shown in the device settings either. Which is weird because I know for a fact they are all provisioned with a phone number even if they dont have voice 

Have you ever encounter this problem and solved it somehow?
