Hello, everyone,

In the factory that I work we have pending to carry out an update of a sw that uses the TC51 / 52 terminals that we have installed.

And as a result of how the factory is distributed, the following problem arises, I have to generate a QR code that helps me create an example number: 3, and then from SOTI use a custom data that looks at that number to activate a relocation rule, but I totally don't know how this QR code can be created, I have tried StageNow but I can't.

I don't know if anyone has had a similar situation or if they could give me any advice.

I am new to this job and my knowledge of this world is limited.

Thank you all very much in advance.

All the best.

Thank you very much everyone for the responses.

Yesterday after several hours reviewing everything, I managed to do it through StageNow with the Filemgr option and in turn creating several synchronization rules and custom datas.

Thank you very much again.

I know with 3rd party options like dropbox you can create a link that auto-downloads files to the device/laptop that opens the shared URL. The URL usually ends wil dl=0, changing this to dl=1 can auto-download the file to the downloads folder on the device. Creating a scannable QR of the dropbox link could be an option.

The custom data could be created to monitor for the file in the downloads folder.

Hope this helps :)

Does it have to be a QR code? Or are you really just looking to implement some mechanism to enable device configuration changes to be executed at the device level? Are the relocations to different groups fundamentally changing the device configuration or are you just say, swapping out a configuration file in the process?
