Activate File transfer mode in Kios mode

Dear All,

On Cipherlab RS 38 device I would like to solve that user can download pictures from device but KIOS mode should be active. At this moment system not give chance to user select File Transfer mode. Soti server verison is: 2024.1.1.1053. On the devicec we use 2024.1.6 Build 1140 version of Soti mobilecontrol.

How can I solve this task?

Hi Gabor,

not related with your issue.

Soti has replaced silent the 2024.1.1  1053 with 1058 on the 26.08.2024.

There is no special notice but it seems there was a major BUG in 1053 relase.

With kiosk mode turned off, you have to check what system module/app(s) is/are being run when doing whatever action required on your device.  Then, before enabling back the kiosk mode, add such module/app(s) as kiosk item (can be hidden)  or in application-run-control whitelist.

If device of different models and/or firmware versions are targeted, then the above may have to be repeated for each combination.

I share how can we solve this issue: in the lockdown we add the next->com.android.settings (settings menu) but this is give us chance to user set some of things so we changed Home Screen Layout Template in lockdown and disappeared this icon from the screen deleted from these lines the 3. value for example in the first line <MCDisp3>->
