Hi, we are trying to programmatically set the mobile apn on huawei P20 lite using AE agent.
The solutions we explored are 2:
MobiControl Stage: It fails the apn configuration giving an error.
MobiContro 14.2 (cloud edition): We set the apn setting action in a profile, the agent on the devices reports a correct installation but the new apn is not installed on the devices.
Is a bug ? Are we missing something ?

I partially solved the problem adding the huawei plugin as package but I find a new issue,
The configuration of the apn that is generated by mobicontrol is missing of the apn protocol
(ipv4 or ipv6) and so the devices aren't able to connect to the private apn.

Do you have any screenshots or more information about the error?
On p20 lite when a user manually edit the acces point the protocol is automatically set on ipv4 and the other 2 options allowed are
ipv6 and ipv4/ipv6.
When MobiControl programmatically creates the configuration the apn protocol is set to "not set" and this make the configuration not usable by the device.
According to my opinion the solution is to permit to set all the parameters related to APNS in Mobicontrol Profiles.
Only a small selection of the parameters reported in the attached picture is editable in is MobiControl profiles .

Based on the missing configuration option in your post I would suggest creating a case at support@soti.net, I'm reluctant to say its a bug without further research but the suggestion to have more configuration options could only improve this feature.
In submitting a case a Technician can help diagnose why the configuration is not being passed to the device properly and if it is intended behavior somehow, they can file a feature request on your behalf from the case.
