Legacy view not working

Hi there!

I have updated Mobicontrol to Version: 15.3.0.6711 and now Legacy view does not work, it only shows a blank screen.

For example, when I choose Rules under Configurations, it should switch to Legacy view but only shows a blank or white screen.

Please advise.

Hi Petur & Eduard,

Thank you for requesting a response from Support Staff.

I suggest uninstalling MobiControl then re-install it fresh (via Control Panel -> Then Re-Run Installers EXE). That should then fix any GUI-related issues you have.

Is this procedure totally safe? Will I not lose any settings in Mobicontrol?

Hi Petur,

Ultimately you're removing the MobiControl Installation Directory files and then re-installing fresh. You're still pointing the installer to the same database you use and thus database data won't be lost. Also, depending on how many devices you have I suggest visiting the Search Service RAM allocation to prevent search integrity issues.
