Itos ic40, ic40g & 45g

Hi everyone,

I enrolled some ITOS devices (ic-40, ic40g and ic45g) on mobicontrol and there's no way to work. The enrollment was fine but the devices get frozen very often and in some cases battery has to be removed. I usually get the sms log: Error sending message (Error sending message (type=22), General communication error). We're using the agent ItosMobiControl1300.

Any tips?

This error (Error sending message (type=22), General communication error) is usually quite a generic message to show that the device has failed to connectn or connection timed-out and information provided above seems to be insufficient so kindly let us know the following.

  • Devices os  and oem version 
  • Type of enrollment for example  android oem or enterprise 
  • Can you try to upgrade agent for one of your devices mainly IC-45g if possible and see if the issue reproducable.
  • You can also check if the issue is reproducable without enrolling into Soti
  • Kindly try to test by enabling the doze mode disable feature in feature control profile and see if it work

IC45g: Android 6 // IC-45G_V01_20180111

IC40G: Android 5.1 // LMY47D test-keys

Can you try to upgrade agent for one of your devices mainly IC-45g if possible and see if the issue reproducable.

I just sent the upgrade. I will check if it is reproducable. How can I check if the upgrade was sucesfully done? 
You can also check if the issue is reproducable without enrolling into Soti

Without enrolling is working fine
Kindly try to test by enabling the doze mode disable feature in feature control profile and see if it work

It was already applied.

Thanks for your reply.

You can check agent version  is already updated by following methods

You can try to open the mobicontrol agent application on device (if you have direct access to device or remotley also by using remote control method) and you will see agent version under device configuration tab on Mobicontrol agent.

If above mentioned option is not working then you can check by clicking on device on your web console and check under device detail section.

I tried to upgrade but it didnt work. The agent version is 13.0.0.33739.
