Is it possible to add the phone number to the Android lockdown screen? Nothing is displayed when we add %PHONENUMBER% to the HTML template.
MobiControl version is 14.1.
Android 5 on Zebra TC75s.
Can you see the phone number of the device from the "Device Details" tab in the web-console? The SIM cards from some telco operators may be configured to disallow phone device firmware to read-out the associated phone number. In such case, you can't see any valid number reported in the "Device Details".
However, if you have a number reported in the Device Details", and there is nothing shown for the the macro %PHONENUMBER%, then you should officially open a support ticket to further investigate the cause. The macro name is correct according to Soti documentation. However, frankly speaking, I can't recall I have previously used this macro in kiosk menu, and have got successful result. On the contrary, I have countless successful cases using other macros such as %IMEI%, %DEVICENAME%, etc. in kiosk menu.
