Hi SOTI I try to create profile for Lockdown with condition In generally if device online lockdown is off If device offline more than 3 days (I use out of contact), Lockdown is On. if device come back to online, Lockdown is off by automatically I have 3 profile 1. lockdown profile 2. profile for check when device out of contact; script is notify kiosk on 3. profile for check when device online; script is notify kiosk off + out of contact 10 minute , but i stucked Lockdown is On (Because of condition 2) but when comeback online lockdown is not off
Hey Everyone, at the moment I am testing with an Zebra Android 14 device to find a solution for my "admin logout" button. It is displayed in my lockdown to leave it with the admin password. Since I updated the device to Android 14 the intent which is behind this button isn't working anymore. I use this intent: #Intent;action=net.soti.mobicontrol.admin.PASSWORD_DIALOG;i.dialog_type=1;endDoes anyone know which one I have to use with Android 14 or have another workaround? At the moment I put a .cmd file on the device which gets executed when I press to button. In it is the script: "_adminmode on". Unfortunately I don't have to enter the admin passoword anymore which doesn't fit the use case. Thank you for your help!
I have made a profile for Windows 11, Windows Modern Single-App Kiosk Mode. In here I set the User Account, the SOTI SURF PFN, the Application ID I extracted with the MobiControlWindowsUtility. Now the device boots and starts KIOSK mode. But I get a black screen and don't know how to set the wanted URL I want SOTI SURF to start in. This should be remote manegable I think? Maybe someone could give me a push in the right direction?

Hi, Does anyone know which browser the Lock Down - Kiosk browser uses? This is the "https://" option when adding a screen item. This seem to have the affect of make the web page full screen however, we noted that performance on the web pages is very poor in comparison to using Chrome driectly or the "Browsers://" option. Is there anyway to replicate the full screen without using "https://" Thanks
Is there a posibility to start Soti Surf from a lockdown shortcut directly in Downloads screen? I'm using Surf for one of our internal web apps, and endusers are downloading pdf documents and photos. I'm looking for a way to give endusers access to that downloaded files (without access to other files, so shortcut for myfiles or other file explorers is a no go) Tried to check the activity for the Downloads screen in SOTI. Current activity name: net.soti.surf/.ui.activities.DownloadContentActivity Are there some sendintent scripts that could work? Hi, I cant solve this can anyone help? I am running SOTI to manage a Windows 10 terminal. I have the device locked using the Lockdown option as I need the end users to navigate to just a couple of specific URL's. This works fine until I open the item on the kiosk home screen and it wont load correctly. (See screen shots below) I have narrowed this down to it opening the URL with the default browser which is not correctly loading the website. How do I force the URL to be opened in a modern browser such as edge or chrome? To confirm the website is active a we have no errors or issues connection outside of the SOTI kiosk / Lockdown config.
Running Samsung tablet with Android 12 and the kiosk lockdown is not getting installed from the Profile in the Configurations. All permissions for SOTI are set to Allow on the tablet. All other items in the Profile (wifi, wallpapers, authentication, etc) are installed and working correctly. What else needs to be set? Is this OS blocking the LockDown?

Hi, I am playing with the dynamic template in hopes of coming up with a solution to resolve an issue we are having with kiosks at the moment. We are actively migrating our devices from one version of our application to a newer release which have different package IDs. It's become very cumbersome to build and maintain 2 different profiles per customer device grouping and swapping them once we know an app has been updated. If the profile swap doesn't happen or if we don't know a customer has migrated apps, they will then have a kiosk with no apps present until someone manually unassigns/assigns the profiles properly. I was hoping to utilize the dynamic HTML template and tweek it where I could add both application package IDs into the lockdown and the template would only display a link to an app if it actually exists on the device. I wasn't sure if anyone had experimented with a similar solution or had any other ideas. Thanks
Have several JotForms created and want to have icons placed for those forms on the kiosk lock screen. Bookmark option just bookmarks the website in Chrome app, but I'd like separate icons per form so the user does not have to search in Chrome on the android tablet. How do I do this?
Good morning community!This is intended to ask for your help with the following; Profiles > In the profile settings, the Lockdown option, in the Templates module there are the options to customize the kiosks. Here, the question that arises is when importing images, if I already have images loaded, is it possible to download them or manage them as a File Manager? If I import a new image, why is it not saved in the existing images and is added directly to the lines of code? Thanks for support!
Hello, I have some Samsung tablets in Kiosk mode that I deploy Microsoft Word and Excel via the Managed Google Play Store.When trying to open a document that lives on the tablet (/sdcard/Documents/) for the first time, Word or Excel shows a prompt "To browse Office files, photos, and media, you'll need to allow access to all files in Settings" Not Now | Go to Settings When I press Go to Settings from within a Kiosk screen, Kiosk blocks the settings page to enable Access to all files for Word / Excel. Exiting Kiosk does allow me to enable the permissions, however a user would not be able to grant those permissions from Kiosk mode if Kiosk is blocking the prompt. I did a bit of research for granting the permissions using a Legacy script, but have not been successful. Hi, We have a customer who will be running Remote Desktop in Kiosk mode to a machine and a workspace. Our intention is to add kiosk menu items that launch said PC and Workspace directly rather than presenting the Remote Desktop app itself. Normally, without Kiosk, the user would 'pin' the remote desktop widget to the Android home screen and launch from there, but I believe the kiosk screen doesn't support widgets. how would I go about creating this solution? Has anyone done this before? I've seen mention of an rdp file type with intent on another discussion but I have no experience in this so cannot look to implement. Thanks
