Problem with Smart View on kiosked Samsung Android 13 Device

Hello,

I have a problem with Smart View on kiosked Samsung Android 13 devices (SM-X200).

I can't use the application because I have this message : "Activity not found".

For Smart View application on the kiosk, it's configured like this :

Can you help me please ?

I personally have tried sharing any Samsung phone screen to Chromecast/Samsung-TV via Samsung Smart View app, haven't gone through the set-up steps.

I am not sure if you intend to allow device end-user to tap on the kiosk item to set up from scratch or to enable/disable a previously configured connection, as the two might require diifferent activity to be launched.  Anyway, have you tried just defining the kiosk item to use

   Launch://com.samsung.android.smartmirroring

rather than launching specific activity of the app?

I try with Launch://com.samsung.android.smartmirroring but I have this message : "Package not found".

The package for Smart View is installed on the device :

I have this problem just with Android 13 devices. Smart View works perfectly with Android 12 kiosked devices.

Hi Matthieu,

Thanks for posting on SOTI Pulse and thanks Raymond for responding to the post. 

I would suggest you open the application on the device and send the Legacy script "identify_activity" to the device and check the logs to get the correct bundle id for the particular application. 

Then you can use the Launch function with the correct bundle ID and test.
