Samsung Agent Not Compatible with Samsung

We have a selection of devices (Samsung SM-T295) which cannot be enrolled. I have tried using our server (on prem) provided Samsung ELM agent and we get the error "This device agent is incompatible with your device. Please contact your administrator". We've also tried the SOTI provided ELM agent from soti.net/oem and we get the same message. We also tried the non-ELM agent but as expected that didn't work either.

Has anyone any idea what is going on and how can I enroll these devices?

Our server version is v14.4.1.1195, the agent version is v14.5.4.1016. Our server has SHA2 certs. The tablets are running Android 11.

Your device firmware is quite new, your server version a bit old, and your device agent exceptionally new.  What a combination!  Unfortunately, I don't have any SM-T295 to do any test.

With Android 11 firmware, have you considered  enrolling your SM-T295 device with generic Android-Enterprise device agent rather than with Samsung ELM device agent?

Have you tried out other Samsung ELM device agent earlier than  v14.5.4.1016?  If so, what version(s) have you tried?

Do you have any other Samsung device(s) of different model(s) successfully enrolled onto your MobiControl  v14.4.1.1195 server?  If so, please list out the model, firmware version and agent version/build number of each.

We have 557 other Samsung devices listed with various models, OS versions etc. We currently have 10 SM-T295 with OS 10 installed, we have no OS 11 on SM-T295. We do have 85 other Samsung's on OS 11. All enrolled with the ELM agent.

Enterprise agents are not suitable as we use scripting for certain applications.

I have not tried older agents as I am relying on a customer to enroll these devices and as such I have to keep asking them to try things for us.

Thank you.

That is terrible news but at least it is a complete answer. Thank you for the response.
