MobiControl version v 14.49 > Move device maintain overridden advanced configuration ?

Hello,

actually i'm testing the version of mobicontrol v14.4.9

All works fine, but i have a question about the move device operation on android + device.

before when i move device to one folder to other, i receive a popup with a confirmation message (mobicontrol version v 13.3.39)

Now, when i do the same i have a check box who says " maintain ovveridden advanced configuration specified to selected device "

I would like to know what does it means ?

because i can't see the difference between if I check the checkbox or not ?

I've join a print scrren with the two popup

The move operation is the same in both versions.

The reason you got the extra option "Maintain 'Overridden" Advanced Configuration ..." in v14.4.9 was that the device to be moved  had one or more advanced configuration item NOT inherited from its parent.  So, you were given the option to choose whether the device keep such overridden advanced configuration after the move or use those inherited from its new parent after the move.

The device you moved in earlier version did not had such option because all advanced configuration items had been inherited from its old parent before the move, and would keep inheriting from its new parent after the move.
