We are experiencing an intermittent issue when initiating Remote Control sessions on our Android Enterprise Work Managed devices.

Issue Description: When launching Remote Control, the device screen visually renders 180 degrees upside down. However, the touch mapping remains correctly oriented to the physical device.

This creates a situation where clicking an area on the remote screen registers input based on the actual orientation of the physical device rather than where the elements are visually displayed.

Because the visual display is inverted while input mapping is normal, navigating or opening apps becomes nearly impossible without blind guessing.

Environment Details:

MobiControl Version: 2024.1.2.1046

Affected Device Model: Samsung SM-X358U (Galaxy Tab Active5) - It has also happened on other devices and models, this is just my most recent example.

OS Version: Android 16

MobiControl Agent Version: 2026.2.1.1003

Remote Control Plugin Version: 2.3.0.0

Management Mode: Android Enterprise Work Managed

Previous Workaround: In the past, we used a Legacy script to resolve similar display detection glitches:

restartagent

However, this script no longer appears to have any effect, likely due to changes in Android Enterprise permissions and script deprecation.

Has anyone encountered this inverted rendering issue on recent Android Enterprise builds or found an updated script / setting to fix or reset the Remote Control display layer?
