We've just started producing device in Android Enterprise rather than Android Plus and I've noticed that the device downloads the latest released agent.
Is there a way to control the version downloaded?
I've tried changing the agent download to be from the server rather than google play in the add device rule but it still downloaded the latest version.
Yes, but even when you specify which agent to install, google play should update the agent to the latest version nonetheless, after some time.
This is not possible if afw#mobicontrol tag is used to enrol a device into AE managed-device mode. However, when using QR code or NFC for enrollment with MobiControl Stage app running on an Android provisioning device, it is possible to specify which device agent to use.

I couldn't find anything when I had a quick look before posting this question.
I'm enrolling using a QR code generated using the Stage Programmer application.
Could you post a link to one of the other posts where this has been answered so I can see how to resolve my issue?
