After I download the agent and install it, it crashes.
Will a new Agent fix this, if so when will it come out?

Did your device
1. crashes right after enrollment without any profile payload assigned ?
2. crashes after EVERY cold/warm boot?
3. crashes only occasionally (maybe at seemingly random time)?
If you have case (3), and if there are many EMM policies deployed, your problem may be temporarily solved if some of the policies (especially application run control and/or kiosk mode/lockdown menu) or device low-power mode are fine tuned.
Hi, Thank you for your reply. My situation does not even fall under one of your options.
It crashes before I enter the Enrollment ID for my server. When I open the app, it crashes. I have also tested it with 13.3 and 13.0 agent versions but still same issue.

How are you going about getting the agents on your devices? Have you tried using Android Enterprise agents?
*note* Android Enterprise agents should already be compatible with (Android OS 8) Oreo.
It isn't official yet but I have heard that we are poised to release Oreo (Android OS 8) compatible Android+ Agents before the end of this month.
I would expect that if this is the cause of the crash, yes this should resolve your agent crashing on your Galaxy 8 devices.
