can't get the access screen on a samsung device using RC

Hi,

I have an issue with remote control. When I try to take control of a Samsung device (Xcover 6 Pro), it reverts to a black screen, and I don't get the opportunity to input the access code.

Previously, I used to press Pg Up on my keyboard (PC), and it would bring up the screen where I could input the access code, but I no longer get this option. Is there a way to resolve this issue?

on the device self, i don't have the option to swipe using my mouse.

Below is some more information:

Version of Soti: 2024.0.0.1075

Samsung: Android 13

remote control used: web-based (plugin: get the same issue)

Hi, there are two options:

  1. You can simulate it by swiping on the black screen and entering the PIN
  2. Alternatively, you can use the script command "unlock"

The black screen is an expected bahvior since Android (i don't know which version 11 or 12).

Please don't use the unlock command as this will remove the pin but you can just work with it like it is right now:

1. unlock screen by swiping up
2. black screen appears
3. enter via local keyboard then pin (or password) and hit enter
4. if you typed in correctly, device is unlocked

Alternative:
1. "unlock" screen by using the side menu moving your cursor in remote control on the device icon (bottom left)
2. click on the burger menu
3. click in the (now) black screen of the device
4. enter via local keyboard then pin (or password) and hit enter
5. if you typed in correctly, device is unlocked

But using "page up" still works for me in remote control for unlocking (resulting in the black screen where you need to enter the password blind).
