Script to install a profile that is showing "administratively removed" so i can quickly reinstall it on about 400 devices instead of doing this manually

I sent a ps script to revoke restart and reinstall a profile but it got hung up half way through and now the profile is stuck on 'administratively removed' and i have to manually install it back. Is there a script that i can send to all of them for the profile in question to grab them all in one go?

Hi Katie,

i only know the Status 'administratively removed' when it was manually removed.

The problem is that it needs manually reinstalled on each device.

My workaround would be to rename the Profile what has on the Devices the Status 'administratively removed' to like _old.

Then do a Copy of this Profile and Name it without the "_old" , next Step is to Revoke the Profile with "_old".

Then assign the Profile to the Same as the Copied Profile was assiged.

Then Should be the new copied Profile get installed on all Devices and the other one is getting removed.

Hi Katie,

Thank you for your post on SOTI Pulse.

We appreciate Marcus's response to your query.

As Marcus suggested, we recommend creating a clone of the profile that was removed administratively and then renaming it.

When you edit the cloned profile, you'll have the option to assign it to devices. From there, you can select all 400 devices.
