Summary

Issue Description
The error message below appears on Windows Modern devices where the SOTI MobiControl agent is installed:
OPERATION FAILED!
An unhandled exception occurred!Task Manager shows the application Soti.MobiControl.WindowsModern.CatalogApp.WPF is running in the background.
Environment
SOTI MobiControl 2025.1.0 and earlier.
Cause
Possible causes:
- The operating system language differs from the language used in SOTI MobiControl.
- The Windows Modern device has the same name as the current Windows user.
Issue Resolution
This issue will be resolved in a newer version of SOTI MobiControl.
Review release notes for updates related to this issue.
Workarounds
Log in to the affected Windows machine using a different Windows user account than the machine name.
or
Rename the existing Windows user account so that it does not match the machine name.
