Adjust Time Zone

With remote work expanding across countries and continents, managing device time zones presents a challenge. Setting a standard time zone/date can help employees stay in sync across different regions. Here’s a script to configure a specific time zone on Windows devices. Using the Send Script action, you can deploy customized scripts across devices enrolled in the SOTI MobiControl web console.

Important:
  • It is recommended to test the script on a local/ test machine for its purpose and effects. 
  • SOTI MobiControl will not be responsible for any damage/loss to the data/setup based on the behavior of the script.

Shows time zone

1 Get-TimeZone

Set time zone Id inside "UTC" like "UTC-11"

1 Set-TimeZone -Id "UTC"

Get the list of available time zone Ids

1 ‘Get-TimeZone -ListAvailable‘
