Configure Screen Time Limits

The Configure Screen Time Limits script enables administrators to set access restrictions on Windows devices, ensuring users can only access the device during designated working hours. This helps mitigate the risk of unauthorized activity outside of business hours, even if user credentials are compromised. Additionally, it allows IT teams to schedule system updates and maintenance during off-hours, minimizing disruption and ensuring user data remains safe and secure.

  • It is recommended to test the script on a local/ test machine for its purpose and effects. 
  • SOTI MobiControl will not be responsible for any damage/loss to the data/setup based on the behavior of the script.

Set screen time limits

1 net user <username> /times:<day>,<times>
