Shut Down Device

Admins may need to remotely shut down Windows devices while managing a device fleet. SOTI MobiControl enables them to execute commands for an immediate or scheduled shutdown with a specified delay using the Execute Send Script action. This document provides code snippets for shutting down your device.

Important:
  • It is recommended to test the script on a local/ test machine for its purpose and effects. 
  • SOTI MobiControl will not be responsible for any damage/loss to the data/setup based on the behavior of the script.

Shut down device

1 Stop-Computer -ComputerName "computer_name" -force
