Issue Description

The SOTI XSight console is not accessible after an upgrade. Client ID is visible in plain text in the console, and you receive RSA Key errors in the SOTI XSight Admin Utility.

Issue Resolution

For versions of SOTI XSight earlier than 2024.0.0, follow these steps:

  1. Re-run the SOTI XSight installer in Repair mode.
  2. Continue through the repair as normal. However, when the installer asks about RSA keys, select "Force re-encrypt the SA sensitive data with new RSA keys."

 

For SOTI Xsight 2024.0.0 and later, follow the below steps:

  1. Navigate to the SOTI XSight Administration Utility on the server.
  2. Select Management Service.
  3. Check Force Generate then select Generate New Keys.
  4. Once the activity finishes, test the link to confirm the fix.
