user wants to make screen larger, just wondering if that's possible while using a lockdown screen
I would like to know the best approach for doing this: I've created a package for Soti surf and wish it to be installed on several of my devices and stay installed when the device is moved to another group. so I created a "profile" only for installing this package and have assigned to several of our device "groups" here's the rub, I've noticed that after I do the assignment it shows these groups but say the next day I come back to this profile and check the assignments only a couple of these device groups are still assigned. I have no idea why this would suddenly change. my other option would be to simply go to each profile for the device group and add the package there what option is the best?
We are trying to use SOTI Surf as a web kiosk to allow users access to specific websites and some of these websites are showing "Webpage not available" For example: https://okta.com https://account.microsoft.com These websites are otherwise accessible on the same devices using any other browsers. We currently do not have any restrictions in our SOTI Surf config, only a configured home page. Currently the application should be open. We also found this on SOTI Surf version 13.3 and 15.2

Hi! We have an app through soti surf, but sometimes it has bugs, which could be fixed by clearing the cache. However it would be much easier if everytime the surf app would be opened, the cache would clear itself just like the cookies. Is there any way to do this? Unfortunately disabling the cache is not an option, because the app that we use needs it. Thanks!
I downloaded soti surf from soti download page and then uploaded to server added package to profile where it installed on the devices within that profile Can I keep Soti from uninstalling Surf if I move the device to another profile that doesn't have the surf package added? I guess is what I'm looking for is to have surf installed and make sure it doesn't uninstall because our users require that surf be installed Note: on version 11 of soti there was a deployment rule with option: Uninstall contents upon rule deletion: I use to set that to No and when I moved the device to another group it didn't uninstall the package
after installing soti surf I noticed it installed partially under managed google play it said: install failed
I have created a whitelist for restrict which domains the user may access and it has worked pretty well. But I could not include a entry for allowing the end user to be able to access a google form. Hi, Can you please let us know the Google chrome version of our current SOTI Surf Browser 15.2.1.6 When I used the SOTI Surf browser version 14.4.2, faced the browser compatibility issue and our vendor said that would support their URL access the Google Chrome version 55 above. Before roll out our SOTI Surf new version 15.2.1.6 would like to know which version of google chrome is built.
Hi, We have a device that's been used in kiosk mode, but sometimes the application is faulty which can be fixed easily if we clear the soti surf cache. Is it possible somehow to let's say run a task that clears the cache daily? Thanks
I have a site that most of their url's have url.com:portnumber/restofurl. I can add these to the surf config as either a single webpage or catalog of web pages. However if I try to call those web url's from the lock screen as one of the browser launch methods it does not appear to pass the url over to surf or the browser or webview. Before I open the ticket with SOTI Support I wanted to make sure that someone else had not seen this issue yet. Thanks in advance.
Aloha, I used SOTI surf as a portal to our Google drive folders. In the folders we have files for our couriers to access and view. We have a few files that are video formats .mov If we try and play it doesn't do anything. I unlocked the lockdown and accessed our google folder via google chrome and the videos played perfectly. I am assuming there is a setting in SOTI surf, in the lockdown setting or in the feature control that is preventing the video to play back. We are using Zebra TC 57, android device, enrolled as Enterprise. Any help would be appreciated. Aloha and have a beautiful day.
I have a profile setup for Soti Surf that enables kiosk mode and does nothing else. Surf kiosk mode ends up hiding the status bar and you have to pull down from the top to make it visible for a few moments. This gets awkward with Surfs pull down to refresh the page function. I've played around with the application settings for Surf but I cannot make the status bar always visible. This happens across multiple devices, CT60, CK75, and Samsung Active Tab 2. Is there a way to make the status bar always visible in Surf's kiosk mode?
We use SOTI surf in KIOSK mode, and the best option would be for us, if the back button would close the browser completely and if we open up Surf again from the lockdown menu a new browser would open up. So basically a clean start every time. Is it possible somehow?
Hi there, is there a way to enable SOTI Surf or Chrome to play sounds ? For example: If I enter something wrong in a field on a website I want to hear a sound. (This works within Windows PC or Laptop) Is there a way to handle this in Android (SOTI Surf or Chrome)? Thanks
