Hi there, I'm working on resetting Enterprise Binding of the devices. The feature which SOTI introduced in v15.1. Source: https://docs.soti.net/soti-mobicontrol/release-notes/ "Improved Reset Account device action to allow administrators to create new or reset existing Managed Google Play accounts on devices without using a factory reset" Issue: Most of the devices got reset with the account while in some of the devices Reset button is completely disabled. I checked MobiControl app there is no pending action also Google Play Services and Play Store are enable.Any idea on how to fix this without reenrolling the device? SOTI Version: 15.5.2.1003
Hello, We would like to set the device inactivity time via mobicontrol, but it only allows us if we wipe data or if we play a media. We only want to set a delay and the device locks like usual. Is there a way to do so ?
Is there a way to prevent location tracking for installed apps in MobiControl without disabling GPS altogether? I am concerned with location tracking by installed apps and how I can prevent it. The customer uses IOS only.
The Existing Images dropdown in LockDown contains too many files not being used and scrolling through them takes forever. Some of these need to be removed. There is nothing in the content library. Where else are these images stored? This is for an android+ work managed device hosted on the soti web console.
Hi, we are using SOTI Surf with Zebra ET45 Tablets in our production environment where we are running a SAP application inside the SOTI Surf. When you Dock the tablet the Website refreshes and terminates the login. Is there any setting related to this? I think it might have something to do with the zoom and that the browser wants to fit the new screen that is connected to the docking station. Love to hear your thoughts best regards Manuel

I am trying to deploy a Powerpoint template to the proper directory (/Users/<username>/Group Containers/....) on all managed Macs. Copying the template into the /tmp folder on the Macs works, but.... When I execute the post download script, the copying / moving (with cp or mv) to the proper directory fails due to insufficient permissions of the destination folder (/Users/<username>/Group Containers/....). However, the script is executed as root. So the permissions should be sufficient. But still it does not work. I researched a little: it might be that this is connected to the security measures on OSX Sequoia. My question: Is there any way to copy the template into the intended folder? Any special tricks with MobiControl? Any hint?

I have iMiN Swan 2 (I24D02) at my desktop and I try to connect it do soti (mobicontrol 2024). Soti have plugin for iMin Technology Pte LtdSwift 1 (I22M01)15.2.4.1034. Is there chance for Swan 2 dedicated agent? When i use Android Enterprise agent I can only enroll to work porfile bur remote view doesn't work. Device don't have camera so I have doubt is there chance to enroll it to enterprise. Does anyone have these device and connected it properly do soti?

I am attempting to filter the app assignment of some social media apps to specific users across multiple departments. When I set a 'User Group Target' in the assignment page to 'Include IdP Group Name = Social Media' every device is excluded from the assignment. I am no longer sure I understand what this feature does because every possible combination of properties I've tried would fully exclude all devices. The devices are associated and enrolled with user authentication and do show the correct 'Member Of' groups in the User details panel of the device. Is there a way to filter policy assignment using Identity groups instead of creating a new virtual group for every department or doing device specific assignments?
Hello, From time to time i get calls from users at our warehouses that the beam function have stopped working on our Zebra MC33xx / TC21 scanners, and i remote connect to the scanner and starts troubleshooting. The problem is that i can't figure out how to verify if i have solved the problem by my self, and i always need to ask the user to try the scanner and get back to me with the information. Is there any way to check that the laser beam works without phyisically click on the "scan" button? Appologies if this topic have been discussed before, i tried to search but could't find any topic related to my questions. Running SOTI Mobicontrol 15.5.2.1003
For some of our warehouses we have to load a datawedge profile. We transfer the db file with a file transfer policy then run a script afterwards to load it. <wap-provisioningdoc> <characteristic version="10.1" type="DataWedgeMgr"> <parm name="ConfigurationFile" value="/sdcard/download/datawedge.db" /> <parm name="AutoImporting" value="1" /> </characteristic></wap-provisioningdoc> This works fine on all of our MC9450 devices with this configuration. MX OEM Data Wedge 13.2.032 13-15-17.00-TG-U00-STD-NEM-04 13.0.218 Monday we started a launch in a new warehouse with new devices. MC9450's with this configuration MX OEM Data Wedge 13.5.0.28 13-24-08.00-TG-U00-STD-NEM-04 14.1.32 All of the SOTI configurations are identical with these devices and the existing devices. However we are getting this error when trying to run the script. Custom log (Mxconfig failed: /sdcard/download/SOTI_RMDataWedge.xml). I have enrolled on of the devices with the older configuration with these devices and the script works. I can't find anything on the zebra documentation. One other note. There is a custom application that we install on these, Manhattan Scale Warehouse Mobile. This app usually installs two datawedge profiles to the device. When I check after installation, the profiles are not there. I can go to the device and go into the datawedge app and manually load the configuration from the db file that SOTI downloaded, which is the work around we are using now. Anyone help would be appreciated. Thanks all.
Hi I have a question about passing custom data to a Managed Google Play app. The data is stored in a JSON file and is accessed using custom data settings. This works perfectly within Soti (e.g., Lockdown, CustomMessage, etc.). However, as soon as we try to pass these values to a Managed Google app, it doesn’t work.
