Hi, We have recently moved from Mobicontrol v13 to v15 and also changed our devices from Samsung J3 to Honeywell EDA51. We are having an issue with the GPS on the devices and im trying to work out if its a setting in Mobicontrol or the devices. We run a tracking app on the device and it logged as rarely achieving GPS lock for large periods. i can see a setting in Mobicontrol called Location accuracy. Will changing this help with this or should i be looking at something else? thanks Gareth
Hello, I am having trouble trying to reinstall chrome via soti. Once the package is created and deployed from the server (14.4.9.1034), the tablets (Samsung SM-T580 agent versión 14.2.1.1083 and Android+) try to install the package and they start rebooting agent with each installation attempt. Keeping on rebooting. This is the state in which the package remains on the tablet: Or: This package is the only one with which I have problems, I have installed and updated packages from other apk's, but this one, I don't know if being an OS application is giving me problems. Any idea why it could be?
Hi My Samsung Galaxy Tab2 on Android Enterprise and using kiosk mode having issue pairing Bluetooth. Although there is a plays a sound notification,the pin box seems to be blocked by the lockdown (Note:Outside kisok mode appear to be working with no issue) Any advice how to solve this issue ? -Setting manger v14.4 -Agent v14.2.2 Kind Regards Walid

We have approx 1700 devices in our deployment, and almost all are always showing as offline. I am wanting to configure a script to run in our out of contact policy to activate the connection again / to try and keep it online. The inbuilt script in SOTI seems ot be for an old android version, most of our devices are Android 7/8/9 is there a script I can use?
We are looking to adding a couple of scripts to the pre or post boot so that the Wifi and the P1, P2, P3 buttons are remapped for the Zebra WT6000. We have WT6000 that lose their wifi settings and sometimes their setting for P1, P2, P3 buttons. MobiControl doesn't seem to push out programming of buttons and once the wifi isn't working MobilControl can't talk to the device. I can program bar codes for StageNow but we lock down the system after it's fully booted for warehouse staff. Wondering if anyone has done this and how?
Hi We want to set up an alert that triggers if a device is not back at its depot by 9pm. We have looked at Soti and can see it only triggers if a device exits or arrives at a geo fence. In our case its more that it hasn’t broken a geo fence. Is there any other way of doing this? thanks Gareth Parry
Hi Is there a way I can send unique files to individual users? These files have the users name in them so cannot be a blanket Content Library or File sync rule. I don't want to have to (nor do I even know if the cloud server will allow) create 1800 library policies or file sync rules. Looking at the art of the possible. Devices are Samsung XCovers on Android 7 to 9 If it helps I'm on a cloud instance running 14.4.9 Thanks Eddie
On WinCE devices it's simple, just go to menu->configuration->servers, however I need to know where can I find the same thing on Android devices. Basically we will migrate our local MobiControl server to another IP, and We want to check wether the devices got the new IP address or not. Thanks in advance!
Hi, I have a problem with SOTI Mobicontrol server. The server not sync new domain users and I can't add new admins/techs users to manage SOTI server. The connection between SOTI and AD are ok; I checked few times. What can I check more? Best Regards,
Hi everyone, so i just enrolled 1 device to MC, it's BYOD enrollment and i restrict the google Play. Strange thing is the mandatory apps didn't automatically installed in my Work Profile. When i tried to download and install it manually, after download the app notification come out and said, This App can't be installed. Anyone experience this? The only profile i push to the device is only Authentication Profile, so the user need to type password before login to Work Profile. Hope someone can help me sove this issue! Thanks & regards, Randy
I had our cloud instance upgraded from 14.4.9 to 15.1.0. Although my licence count is correct, and device report is correct the number in View Al Devices is low, The count has been going up as devices come online and check in but I'm only seeing two thirds of the devices in the view The devices that are not listed have been offline for weeks/months (although I can see some long offline devices which require a client update). How can I get the view to update from the database? Is it just a case of waiting overnight?
I am having difficulty sending some scripts to my Android Enterprise device - Samsung A50, Android 9. Our platform is version 15.0.1.1181 and the agent version is 14.1.6.1018. The scenario is: Firstly I noticed that after sending the script unlock, the logs need to update to state “Custom log (New authentication password applied)” before sending the kill_application and/or start script. After I did this I noticed that my test device successfully completed the scripts correctly each time – however, I then started sending them to other devices and was finding they hadn’t worked. This then has led me to find another issue: I believe what is happening is – if the device is pressed or touched by the user once the script is sent – then the following scripts: kill_application com.commontime.infinity.jobmenuprod start com.commontime.infinity.jobmenuprod will work correctly. However, if the user does not touch the device at all once the script is sent (I have found 30-60 seconds or more) then the final script is not correctly ran. The device appears to run the start script once the user opens or touches the device, but if this does not happen then the script is not ran at all – almost as though the device forgets that that start script needs to be ran. I have also tried sending it at three separate scripts – firstly sending the script unlock, and waiting for the logs to update to state “Custom log (New authentication password applied)”, next sending the kill_application script and waiting for this to appear in the logs, and then finally sending the third script – start. Again, if I press or enter the device manually as soon as the final script is sent, then the application does load once the screen is opened – yet, if I wait and enter or select the device after 30-60 seconds or more the application does not start – again as though the device has forgotten it needs to complete the third and final script. To confirm in all instance – the unlock and kill_application scripts are correctly working each time – it is just the start application that is causing an issue. Please could you provide any advice on how I can ensure the scripts each run - without user interference? Thank you
Hi, I want to enroll some Honeywell CK65 devices. As I understood it needs the "Honeywell new gen" agent. I've downloaded and installed version 14.2.1, however when I type in the enrollment ID or the URL, I get an error message "Enrollment failed. Please retry or contact your system administrator". Agent version: 14.2.1 Mobicontrol version: 13.4.0.5042 Android version: 8.1.0 We are talking about a local server btw.
