Hi! We have started seeing a weird behavior on some of our XCover 4s devices. When we do a restartagent or for example an upgrade of the agent when the screen is locked, the agent is stuck on splash screen and won't start until we unlock the screen. Have anyone else seen this problem? I have tried to disable Doze Mode, upgrade to the latest agent. eg. Android+ devices (DA)
Hello all, I am wondering if anyone knows of a way to have soti send an alert when a specific amount of devices are seen going offline? Or maybe something that would give me a similar scope of devices going offline. Reason being, a few weeks ago we had an issue where our cellular network went down but didn't have anyone report it until the dead of night during a night shift. So, just looking for ways to be proactive for the future. Thanks in advance for any tips!
Hi, Everytime I try to move a device between folders I receive an internal server error message. I'm also unable to enrol new devices, they show 'enrolled' but the agent is disconnected. We've recently upgraded our licence to allow more devices, does this take time to become live? This is quite urgent as we need to build 400 devices by Wednesday! Thanks, Adam
Hi All, We have a subset of older devices that still have what we used (SOTI Pocket Controller) for remote control on our Windows Mobile devices back in the day before we started with Mobi. Now, I am trying to uninstall that application from a decent bit of devices. I've been testing a basic uninstall script but the application pops up on the device with a prompt to delete settings from the device and has yes/no answer boxes. These devices are in heavy duty vehicles, so we would like to prevent that pop-up if at all possible. Does anyone have any thoughts on how to do a silent uninstall on WM for this application? I've just tried the basic uninstall script below so far: uninstall "SOTI Pocket Controller Enterprise" Thanks in advance.
We have our Samsung tablets set with a bookmark to a GISCloud.com map (https://continental-landscapes.giscloud.com/map/1192857/whg-2019). In SOTI Surf we are having issues where one of the map layers (the base map layer with the streets/streetnames on it) is not displaying when viewed in SOTI Surf, but is displaying fine if viewed in Chrome. I can't think why WebView wouldn't like it.
3500 Windows 10 devices connected to two deployment/management servers, version 15 Mobicontrol. Windows agents currently configured with server IP address. our Network department wants to move the servers to another IP segment and suggested using server name instead of IP address. I build a new agent install using server names but PCs do not connect. Agent test returns "Connected. Cannot send data to server." Connect button on General tab will not connect. Why does IP address connect but server name does not? have tested with fully qualified server name and also :port number. Also - for mass deploy of change from IP to server name, is the pdb.ini the only file to be modified? i have script that will search/replace IP with server name once we have that working.

I was considering looking at Android One devices to simplify things, however I was wondering if there were any brands or models that worked particularly well with Mobicontrol? For example, having the most compatible features, allowing easy deployment, etc We're looking in the region of <£200 Thanks

Hello, We are using lockdown on Android Enterprise. Is there anyway to set it up so that the icons can have a unique link for each different device? Or would we have to set up multiple unique profiles?
Hello, We are testing using managed Google Play on an owned device, however when we try and add calendar events to Google Calendar we get an error: No Calendars have been synced with this device yet. Ideally we would like to set up reminders at the same time each day for the user to follow a link and complete a questionnaire. Does anyone know how to get this working with a managed Google account?

I updated a TC72 with the LG09 patch for Oreo. After it applied the update it is asking for the password for android. These devices were never setup with a passcode or password as they were Android Managed Devices running SOTI Kiosk mode. Any idea what this password is?

When using the identify_activity script, they each show (Current activity name: com.android.chrome/org.chromium.chrome.browser.webapps.WebApkActivity) in the log. Has anyone found a way to launch a unique web app created in the play store from a Lockdown? Let me clarify that I understand what Surf offers but am always looking for alternative solutions. Hey, i was once playing with the sheduled actions to deplay a profile (lockdown) at a specific time (daily). Now i am playing again with the custom shedule. The lockdown gets deployed at the specific timei set. For my test i set a time window of 15 minutes. After the 15 minutes it should leave the lockdown. But the profilegot revoked not after 15 minutes but after 40 minutes. So does it mean that the profile must be active for at least 40 minutes? Here is a screenshot of my configuration: Also the shedule does not work always. Sometimes it is just ignoring the time and does not activate the profile on the device.I am also using UTC time to get it work.
