SOTI MobiControl Linux Shell Commands as a Package Solved Locked

Hello we are trying to manage Linux devices with SOTI MobiControl. We are able to send shell-commands to the device with Send Scripts. Is it also possible to deploy shell-commands as a package (not only the supported linux script-commands)? Thanks in Advance.

Lockdown - allow access to public Wi-Fi pages

We have locked down our devices so that the users can only see a specific app and the Wi-Fi settings. Users need to be able to connect to public Wi-Fi so we have added SOTI Surf with very locked down permissions. I'm trying to figure out what option under Web Content Filtering in the Surf settings would cover these Wi-Fi registration pages (and exclude it).  I've attempted using trial and error but it would be handy if someone was able to confirm.

    Wi-Fi settings - remember password

We are using Lockdown with Android Enterprise. We access the Wi-Fi settings using action://CONFIGURE_WIFI This seems to work well, however we have found that when changing between 2 networks the password is forgotten, so when switching back to the original network the user must re-enter the password. Is there a setting to adjust this or is this just how this works?

MobiControl won't stay connected Solved Locked

Hi, we have 45 Samsung Galaxy TabS4's, with mobicontrol agent ver. 13.7.5....my problem is, that the agent only stays connected when mobicontrol app itself is opened up, as as soon as it gets closed or minimized, the agent disconnects. In the mobicontrol connection settings it's set to permanent. Any suggestions, how to set it up to always be connected?

Setting up multiple different WiFis on Android devices before in field use

Hello everybody, I have been trying to find a good way for setting up multiple WiFis on my Lenovo tabM7 devices running Android 9. We have around 90 Stores, each store is using its own WiFi (different SSID, different key etc.). I obviously have to put in the WiFi information on each device before it gets send out to the store during the initial enrollment and setup of the device in our main office. Each store has its different device group inside MobiControl. It can't really be best practice to use 90+ Profiles with different WiFi settings and assign them to each device? Thanks!

Best Method for installing Windows Applications as Administrator

I am needing to install an application on a series of Windows 10 devices. All my devices are enrolled using Windows Desktop enrollment. The installer needs to be ran as administrator in order to run properly. We are finding that when we push the package to our test devices, the application gets installed using standard user permissions and thus does not install correctly. We have attempted marking the installer to require administrator as well as creating a shortcut with run as administrator marked for the package to execute instead. What would be the best method to forcing a package to run as administrator on our Windows devices?

Managed Google Play apps not loading into Application Catalog

Good Afternoon, i have enrolled a Samsung device with Android Enterprise. i created a test Android for work profile and configured a kiosk "lockdown" screen. there is 2 apps available in the Managed Google Play store that we need to push out the devices. I have created a rule and added the apps to the rule. after several minutes of creating the rule and assigning it to my device, the application catalog still is not showing me the apps. am i doing something wrong? I thought with android enterprise you could install apps from the managed google play store?  please let me know if you need any device or version details i will be happy to provide it at your request. thanks in advance!

SOTI Hub configuration - authentication problems...

Can anyone provide me with some guidance in configuring SOTI Hub pls? Running MobiControl Version: 14.4.2.1307  with SOTI Hub App Version 14.3.0 Build 24 on Android. I'm trying to connect to our internal SharePoint 2016 On-prem content. My repositories appear as folders but I can only see the mandatory fetched files, which I can't download and I keep getting 'the corresponding repository is not authenticated' messages.  Having exhausted all the documentation I can find, I feel I have everything set up correctly but when I run SOTI Hub I get the following ( my steps in this order): Launch SOTI Hub Logging in... Message: Mandatory file sync failed. View event log for details App loads showing greyed out Collated Data Folder & My Files | Select Collated Data Select Collated Data  Message: Logging in Folders for each repository alias appear. Select a folder Message: Alert. The corresponding repository is not authenticated. Please login Click OK - Loading Can view mandatory files - select  a file Message: Alert. The corresponding repository is not authenticated. Please login. Click OK - loading filename downloading failed. Event log shows: Unable to connect to repository 'repo name' The content repositories in my SOTI Hub configuration are set with credentials with full access to SharePoint and as I can navigate into the repositories and see the fetched files I'm assuming the authentication issue isn't with the content repository configuration settings.  I'm therefore wondering if it's to do with SharePoint being internal and not published to the web. I've installed ERG to see if this will route the requests successfully but when I select use Enterprise Resource Gateway and my ERG I get the same errors. When I check my ERG via the MobiControl web console there's nothing in the log window so I'm guessing this isn't configured correctly. I've run out of ideas so if anyone has successfully managed what I'm trying I'd be extremely grateful for some assistance. Many thanks
