Hi I'm a new user and I need to know how to download APk's to our network to then build packages in MobiControl to push out the profiles to Android devices, is there a legal way to do this if not how do we get the App's to the devices via MobiControl
Hello all, we work with zebra tc75x under android 6 and 7 the server is on version : 13.3.3454 the client is on version 13.3.2.1014 i have a profile who black list some application (google store, email, music, calendar, google news, …) but sometimes and not everytime users receive an alert message with this : google keyboard has stopped the problem is not this message the problem is when user try to enter some letter in a edit text nothing is type. user need to close app and re start .. I've look inside the profile but nothing is block about the google keyboard .. i've try to reproduce this problem ..apply all profile but actually i can't Someone can tell me, if he knows this issue or if he have some idea about how to resolve it .. thanks

Hi, I have a case where we created a File Sync Rule to send files from Server to Device. the files Sync Rule has a script of REST to run After Sync. this is working perfectly. and the files are Synced correctly and after that the Android Device is doing a restart. One problem that we faced is that 1 Android Device kept restarting and we didn't why! i suspect that the file Syn Rule kept doing it since it has a restart script. but i am not sure about it. My question, when the files Sync Rule execute and the files already exist are no difference, does the Sync Rule Execute the Script? here are the Options: Only Transmit Files when = Files are Different Sync Option = Execute if Sync'd Sync Files When Device Connects No Schedule = use device Update schedule

Running Zebra TC72. I tried to figure this out with Soti Support, but we were only able to get this working if we manually activated the device as an admin before going into KIOSK mode. I would prefer this not to be a manual process if I can enable this through a package or something. Hello, Is it possible to set a host name with Stage Now and then display it as a device name during staging in SOTI?We tried using StageNow (via the HostManager) to set the hostname, but that did not work. Any Idea?
Why is the "Modify System Setting" feature not set "on" by Default after Installation from the MobiControl Agent ? I cant do any System Settings over the Management Console. I have a process to enroll a device automatically without doing any manuall settings. Is there any way to enable "Modify System setting" by Default or automatically ? I use Zebra TC51 Devices with Android OREO and Zebra Enterprise Home Screen (Lockdown).
Hi, I have a device that I have had in our live system many times that won't enroll now! I am provisioning the device as an Enterprise device by scanning a QR code from the GMS screen but it keeps failing on the Connection To Server screen. The device will enroll into our test system straight away but when I try to enroll back into the Live system it just fails. The logs from the MobiControl application just say "Connection to server failed" Is there a cache or something that I can clear that will help with this? I've tried to perform a factory reset several times and replace the OS on the device. The device is a Zebra TC77.

Hi All. There was an add device rule created for android with the option of skipping the activation of google account during enrolment. These devices will display the "Account activation pending" in the device details tab for android enterprise. We have now created and MGPA and done the binding on SOTI. Added this enterprise into the add device rule. Any new devices that gets enrolled using this add device rule will get the MGPA account (long charater string google account) This is the same rule we used to enroll the devices earlier with a option of skipping the google account creation during enrolment. Question is can we enable the process of the old devices getting the MGPA activated without a reset and re enroll of the devices? Mobicontrol-14.3.3.1111 Devices- Honeywell CT60 Android 7 GMS

Through the same process It cannot work on Android 8.x (Oreo)On my device :" This device agent is incompatible with your device."It seems to be clear, but I have no choice for the agent.In the Android tab on SOTI website, when I download the apk file, I cannot select the version.Is a new release will comme near ?Is there something you can provide me ?Thanks in advance !
Hi we are using SOTI for 3000+ Android devices with SOTI 13.4 and would like to switch to single app mode. However we are not able to access the administator mode and we have tried that "touch" solution in this article (https://discussions.soti.net/kb/administrator-mode-while-in-single-app-mode/) on multiple devices without success. Does this really work? Is there any script command we could use to "enable/disable" SAM ? The only fix we found so far and it's not really usable is uninstalling the application we are running - this is however a poor solution since we want to access the devices for troubleshooting. We have a device using a custom agent. We started upgrading them in the last number of weeks but since upgrading the performance of our units has degraded, upon investigation it seems to be only affecting the units that have had the agent upgraded. We need to investigate further with assistance from SOTI however in the mean time these units need to be working correctly, as such it is suggested that we downgrade the agent. Is this possible, and if so, how. These are all remote so I won't have direct access to them.
