Hi,I wanted to make kiosk mode browser with one page and remove navigation bar (the one with Back, Home, Recent buttons). I managed to remove it with stage now, but now when opening Soti Surf it shows white line where navigation bar was placed. Has anyone encountered this problem and have found a fix or workaround? I want to use soti surf instead of Zebra Enterprise Browser as it would make it easier to configure sites with custom attributes. Zebra CC6000Agent - 14.1.3.1027 Version: 14.3.4.1087
Is it possible to get the recents button working in Kiosk mode? we can get other functions working by by adding program entries in the kiosk mode configuration. Is there a program for the funtion of the "Recents" button? (e.g com.android.....)
Hi All, I am trying to get a kiosk on Windows modern device. I have enrolled the device using an azure ad account. When I try to configure the kiosk I see kiosk and assigned configuration (2 options) The application I am trying to put into kiosk is google chrome browser. I have tried playing around but still have not managed to get the kiosk working. Anyone tried this before?

In the Windows Classic Kiosk you have the option to disable the kiosk mode. Where is the option to reenable it again? For my understanding its kind off senseless to disable kioskmode while the profile with the payload "kiosk" is still showing as installed. Current solution for us is to disable kiosk when needed and then you need to reinstall the whole kiosk-profile whilst the terminal is restarting 2 times. Any Ideas / Solution?
Hi, there is a way on Android Enterprise in kiosk mode to block statusbar expansion, but keep notification icons still in statusbar or expand statusbar without settings icons (Marked in red)? Thanks Thomas
Hi, Can anyone advise how I get the page to display correctly AND with no address bar Chrome v76.0.3809.132 MobiControl v14.3.4.1087 Hardware Honeywell Android 8.1.0, build 86.00.13-(0108) Using https://myurl#Intent;scheme=http;action=android.intent.action.VIEW;component=com.android.chrome/ I get no address bar BUT the page has zoomed in: So, I tried browsers://myurl#Intent;scheme=http;action=android.intent.action.VIEW;component=com.android.chrome/ I now get the address bar, but the page displays as I want it to. Tried using intent:https://myurl#Intent;scheme=http;action=android.intent.action.VIEW;component=com.android.chrome/ out of curiosity, but the button on the kiosk page doesn’t do anything when pressed. I´m working with android enterprise in honeywell devices, such as eda71 and eda51, i enabled the kiosk mode and it is working fine in device owner mode, but i want to disable the status bar expansion because if not, the users can turn off the wifi or change other settings, but i need to see the status bar to check the signal and battery status, in android+ this function it´s shown in lockdown settings, but with enterprise configuration i only see status bar in activity supression. Hello, I am testing the kiosk mode for an android terminal +, everything seems to work well apart from one thing. I can not leave the kiosk mode from the terminal. Let me explain, when I'm on my kiosk I keep pressing the return key and type my password, the kiosk is unlocked but 3 or 4 seconds later the kiosk mode relaunches itself. Hello, We have around 350 Android+ handheld devices that we configure for lockdown using a custom HTML kiosk. It works well but we have an issue where we can't push any updates to the devices over cellular. If the profile is altered in any way (package update, kiosk code update, even a setting option change) the devices on cellular simply minimize the kiosk and remove the lockdown, effectively opening up the device. This happens even when we have the device group enabled to update over wifi, cellular, and cellular while roaming. What would be some things I can check to make sure we have this configured correctly? Only being able to update over wifi is very inconvenient when managing so many devices. Thanks!
Hello, we have a problem with the kiosk mode in Soti MobiControl (ver.: 14.4) . We use the Zebra TC77x (Soti ver.: 1374.10_15). As soon as it’s activated, the menu bar with time, battery display etc. is no longer visible. The whole bar is just completely black. Is there a solution to make it visible? Hello, We would like to use a Windows 10 Tablet (Zebra ET55) in Kiosk Mode. One of the requirements is to be able to create a folder and then within the folder have a bunch of icons for programs we can launch. For instance, we might want a folder called Browsers. When the user clicks on the Folder, they then see “Microsoft Edge”, “Google Chrome” and “FireFox” as options. Is this possible with MobiControl Version 14.1.0.1152? Thanks. -- Val
One of my supervisors in the field has reported that workers are getting past the lockdown kiosk by constantly hitting the recent apps button on the device. He claims that they have been able to get into areas that allow them to make phone calls and send text messages. I have been able to duplication the problem partially. When "pounding recent apps button" I have gotten an app that was in the background to stay in the foreground. While I am still skeptical about the functions they have reported getting into, I am still researching. If the Kiosk can be bypassed this easily, then it is not much good. Thoughts? Hi, Is it possible to deploy a kiosk on a device when enrolled using the generic android for work agent? I'm using the Zebra TC77 with agent version 13.6.0 Build 1928. MobiControl version 14.2.3.1069. The error message I'm getting is "Profile version 2 failed to install, because all of its payloads cannot be installed." The only configuration on the profile is the lockdown. Type of profile is Android Enterprise. Thanks Josh.
Hi I have been trying to put up an item on the kiosk screen which will take to a webpage when clicked. When the icon I clicked I want the user to be able to access the particular web page but when clicked on external links the user should be restricted from going there. I have input a web filter allow- en.wikipedia.org block-* I put up a https:// item on the kiosk, it takes me to wikipedia but it also takes me to other websites when clicked on the links, so I assume webfiles does not work on the https:// item. I then tried using the browsers:// item (browsers://en.wikipedia.org) when I click on the link nothing happens. Not sure I have to do enable chrome or something. I would have used soti surf browser but I am unable to install it on this device.
