Menu bar black in kiosk mode - TC77

Hello,

we have a problem with the kiosk mode in Soti MobiControl (ver.: 14.4) . We use the Zebra TC77x (Soti ver.: 1374.10_15). As soon as it’s activated, the menu bar with time, battery display etc. is no longer visible. The whole bar is just completely black.

Is there a solution to make it visible?

The Android Enterprise SOTI Profile for Kiosk Mode uses the native kiosk that is a function of AE. If you want to switch back to the original SOTI lockdown you can click on the Advanced option in the kiosk configuration and select Activity Suppression.

Hi,

please check: in the profile(s) you use in the "Lockdown" section is there "Hide status bar" enabled? This would lead to the effect you describe. Removing the checkmark will make the bar visible again. But only guessing...
